After no luck at finding her perfect boyfriend, Hallie becomes determined and desperate to find the one for her in senior year. And so did her best friend, Janie Knightley.
After watching Hallie slowly lose her hope over the years, Janie has decided to step in and take action...even if she risks losing Hallie's friendship and trust.
When the platform Myspace becomes the only topic of conversation in their high school, Janie sees it as the perfect opportunity to get Hallie on it and create a fake account and person named 'Jake' that is everything Hallie wants in a guy.
But then thing start to go downhill.
Janie realizes she has no idea how to sound like a guy over messaging. So, in a moment of panic, she enlists the help of Nathan Reynolds, Hallie's number one enemy since grade school pretend to be 'Jake' on Myspace.
Will Hallie fall in love with 'Jake' when in reality she's falling for Nathan? Or will she find out all of this was a setup?
