The New India Foundation Fellowship, provided by the New India Foundation (NGO), is open to scholars and writers focusing on various aspects of Independent India's history. This program aims to fund impactful research projects exploring a wide range of topics related to post-independence India, with each fellowship offering a total grant of INR 18 lakhs for developing book-length studies for graduate students.
Eligibility:-
To qualify, applicants need to:
- Be Indian citizens. 
- Be scholars or writers focusing on various aspects of the history of independent India.
Note: Individuals previously receiving the NIF Book Fellowship are also eligible to apply.
