After the mad king stole the most powerful object known to man, the ancient ruby, and hid it in rocky mountains, he was defeted by the God of light, who then put a curse on everyone, stripping away their powers and turning most animals into dangerous mutants. Asher has trained his entire life to go on the quest to retrieve the cursed ruby and restore the power and get rid of the mutants, the whole kingdom of astral was sure the God of light would choose him to go, but what happens when the God of light instead chooses Elias, the stuck up son of a noble, to go on this dangerous quest and asher has to protect him and guide him on the mission that was suppost to be his.
