A RANGER IS BORN
First off, this story was not written by me. I am posting it for a friend of mine, with permission of course. This took place in a Dungeons & Dragons game over 30 years ago. It is a about how one of the player characters got his start; Crentar Bronn. He is a human ranger of 1st level in this story. This is important to note, because it'll bring more perspective as you read the story. I was the DM (Dungeon Master) for this game. At the time, we were still in high school, which of course, gives away our age. lol I decided to have each character do it solo before they actually met up with each other. A teaser so-to-speak. Eventually, there was five player characters in the game. My friend who ran Crentar Bronn remembers this whole solo adventure to this very day in great detail. A few years after the game is when he wrote this story. We were recently reminiscing about 'old times' and he told me that he actually wrote it out as a story. He was then able to find it on an old hard drive & then sent it to me. I was very surprised at how good this is & how great his memory was from that adventure. I'm flattered that he was so inspired by it, that he turned it into a story! I hope you enjoy this early adventure of Crentar Bronn as much as we did. Perhaps, with enough comments & likes, he'll be inspired to write more chapters. THX
Of Men and Beasts
This is a folktale concept that came to me many years back, but it was only recently that I found myself able to shape it into the kind of story that I wanted. It's a bit longer and more detailed than my other short stories, about twice as long actually, which is why I've split it into two parts. Just to provide some context, it is meant to take place in a medieval, Germanic setting, shortly before the Protestant Reformation when religious fervor was at an all-time high. I really hope you all enjoy this as it took quite a lot of work to finally write down. Feedback welcomed and encouraged as always!Complete

This is the backstory of my Dungeons and Dragons: Dochor. I've always wanted to play D&D. Before I even started playing, I already created my character, like way before. I always knew I wanted to play as a Dragonborn (They are just so cool okay). I will not say anything about the class (sorry, you'll read it in the story) This backstory has been in my head for a long time now, and thought why not write it down and share it.
