The Search for the Eoz Potion explores the reasons why people will sometimes upend their lives and put themselves in harm's way in order to provide a better life for others. At its heart, this is a story about friendship and the power of sacrifice. In enduring all of these trials to help their friend, Hailey and Claire learn to trust each other and develop a confidence they didn't know they could find. This book was written as a project with my kids who were 10, 9, and 5 at the time. I had the basic idea and they filled in the details with things they thought would be interesting and exciting. I then tried to fit it all together into one story. The result is The Search for the Eoz Potion.
