Mr. Aizawa knew that Melissa was used to being underestimated, most assuming she wasn't capable, either because of her sweet demeanor, lack of a quirk, or thinking she was just a nepo baby in the science world. But he knew the truth. She was one of the brightest minds in the world at her young age, and she had worked incredibly hard to get to this point. Unfortunately, as of late, she'd been bored out of her mind. He had heard from All Might how Melissa had called him months ago, complaining that her studies were getting monotonous and she needed a challenge.

Enter Katsuki Bakugo.

Sure, he had a short temper and a less than pleasant personality, but at his core was a thirst to be the best, to be great. A thirst that Melissa shared.

Melissa is one of my absolute favs from the movies, and I feel like her character is WASTED by not being in the main storyline 😭 anyways, since we don't know much about her, her personality in this fic is my headcanon of her, so keep that in mind!!

This is a Melissa x Bakugo story, JUST TRUST ME HERE I SWEAR IT MAKES SENSE (also I know they barely interact in the movie but trusttttttt it works)
