His name has a much deeper meaning to her then he is aware of, and she is just trying to forget.
Serena and her family move from Australia to USA because of severe bullying and the loss of her little brother the year prior; they are originally from Boston but moved when Serena was just 7. The family moved back into their old house, where her Nonna lives. Although she doesn't remember much Serena does remember her childhood best friends, one of which is her new/old hot neighbor.
Asher is not your classic bad boy, although that's what his parents would like to believe, he is a sweet, loving, funny, confident (a little too confident). He has been hurting since his best friend moved away 9 years ago. Sure he had their 4 other best friends, but she was different, she was his escape when his parents when they fought. She was his first love, but at the time he was too young to understand.
(please this description is absolutely awful but i promise the book is better, I'm just horrible at this description stuff, I'm just a girl, so please just give me a chance!)
