"I like that I can read this in a child like voice for the beginning and that it's descriptive yet secretive." "I have so many things to say, but I'll start with, this was amazing. It will walk through when I was a child and found out I was getting a sister to when I got older and understood why she never came into this world. Through this story you will see how this one thing had such an impact on my life and made me the person I am today. This one moment is what got me into writing. Lily, a five year old child loses her parents in a horrible accident. Afterwords she is forced to live with her Grandmother who works all the time and has no time for a child. Lily, not knowing what really happened to her parents, and not understanding at all, she decides to take things into her own hands. At first she killed animals because she thought her parents were lonely where ever they were. After trying to kill her own Grandmother she was sent to The House, an insane asylum for kids. There she met seven other kids with situations similar to her own. Will Lily get better and go live with her family again or will she remain in a sense of denial enough that her sanity is in jeopardy? Based on true-life events, my 73,459-word fiction novel is based on real experiences living with borderline personality disorder. A Journey Back to Me: Learning to live with Borderline Personality Disorder is where Ringmaster and the circus performers take the audience on an adventure through mental illness. My book takes place at Planet Janet, a fantasy circus in which the Ringmaster interacts with each performance while interweaving my personal experiences of coping and living with the daily struggles of depression, rage, anxiety, panic attacks, and relationships. this story is about a scientist in Antarctica slowly losing his sanity I can feel the corners of my lips tug upwards and before I know it, I'm cackling. My laughter rings through the empty room, bouncing off the walls as I double over in hysterics. Despite the dire situation, I can't seem to stop. With each passing second, my giggles become more uncontrollable, more manic. As I catch my breath, I try to reassure myself. "Everything will be fine," I tell myself, punctuating my sentence with another bout of laughter. "Because, because!" I repeat, and my voice breaks into another round of giggles. But soon, my mirth turns to misery as my laughter becomes sobs. I collapse on my hands and knees, tears streaming down my face until they blur my vision. The tears burn my skin, adding to my anguish. I can't even cry in peace, can't even surrender to my despair without feeling physical pain. "Oh god, I ruin everything Johnny- I'm sorry!" I cry out, my voice cracking. "I'm supposed to keep care of you and I'm sorry! I'm so sorry Johnny!" I scream, pounding my fists on the cold, hard floor in frustration. It's no use. Nothing can save me. TRIGGER WARNING *SWEARING* Adventure begins here: 1100s/April 16th since the day I was born nobody cared about me. I was born extremely healthy but I wasn't all normal.... many would say abnormal in appearance. after being sent off the doctor's and nurses placed me in a dark room alone, they've swapped me out for a child who supposedly was "normal" to them. ever since that exact day I was desperate for revenge. locked away in the asylum for 13 years, I became a common attraction I suppose you could call it, personally I found it a repeating nightmare. outsiders clocked in just to see me then clock out over and over till one day I finally had enough. planning to break out I left through my wards closed off window into the outside world alone. disguising myself amongst the commoners roaming the streets and alleyways searching for food and other supplies that could be of use. while searching I come across this building when I realized the horror's that lurked beneath its surface leaving me unprepared for the after math of destruction.
