Ash Ketchum, a young and enthusiastic boy with big dreams and high hopes for the future stumbles through life alongside his many companions as he travels through the lands...while maintaining his highschool life, will our beloved teen finally complete his quest to "catch em all" and be the very best or will the challenges in his way causing him to succumb to life? How will his journeys traverse when life throws one obstacle after another at him? But most importantly....will I complete the story or succumb to my own procrastination? Find out in this book......
This story is my approach on a pokemon fanfiction...it may not be perfect but I'll try my best.
also I don't really think I need to say this but I do not own the Pokemon franchise. I only own the fanfiction, i don't thin i'll use any media or pictures but if i happen to then i'll be sure to link my sources.
PS: I'm really not a good writer so I hope you all will provide feedback on my mistakes and areas of possible development... constructive(and non constructive) criticism are appreciated and I'll hold your feedbacks in high regards

Ash has just lost in the Indigo League, due to his Charizard's disobedience. As he and Pikachu are thinking things over by a lake, they are sure in for a nasty surprise. Betrayal. That's what, out of all possible scenarios, Ash never imagined that his own friends and family would betray and even try and kill him. Now though, Ash must rise above this and prove the traitors wrong, starting with redemption. He heads over to the Orange Islands for sanctuary and to start a new journey, a new start was just what he needed, with new friends, new Pokemon, and mysteries surrounding the Pokemon world. But at the end of it all, the true adventure has only just begun... Warning: Foul Language, minor Adult topics, mentions of blood and gore. Not recommended for young children. Frequently Asked Questions: Q - What's special about this fanfiction? A - The books have an architectured story, from mysteries to time travel. From being awfully childish to brutally mature. Also, the protagonist ages. Q - Who are the Main Protagonists and the rivals? A - Red, a character from the Pokemon Video Games is the main protagonist along with his best friend Leaf. Whereas the character Blue (also known as Gary in the anime) is more of a frenemy than a rival. The main rivals would be Team Rocket Grunts - Cassidy and Butch as well as their Boss, Giovanni. Q - Is this story based on Pokemon Red or FireRed? A - The story has a few iconic moments from the games/manga but those events do not play a big part in the main story arc. Q - Is Ash Ketchum in it? A - The story takes place in its own universe. I try to bring some events from the games, the manga, and the anime. You get to see a different version of Ash Ketchum (close to how he has been depicted in the anime) in 2 chapters of this book. Q - Is Team Rocket the same as in the anime? A - While Cassidy and Butch are characters from the anime, they have a different overall character arc than in the anime. Team Rocket is darker than in any previous versions and has a purpose and a plan other than stealing. Giovanni's plan plays out slowly in the course of three books. Q - It has time travel? A - It does, time travel is hinted at in the first book with the actual "time traveling" in the second book. Q - "I hope the protagonist has a father, hahaha" A - Yes, he does.
