Dean Winchester is a former marine who decided to start his own international trade business.
One stormy evening, as Dean was forced to walk home after forgetting his car keys, he stumbled upon the huddled figure of Castiel in the pouring rain. Castiel was bloody, injured, with no idea of how he ended up in that alley.
In a moment of generosity, Dean takes Castiel in and helps him recover while searching for clues about the stranger's identity and origin.
As Castiel regains his health, fragments of memory emerge, revealing that he was once an angel, who fell from heaven.
