This story doesn't follow the story line of The Walking Dead exactly. Embry Mason had a rough past so when the dead start walking around life really isn't that different for her. Until she meets a certain redneck that is.

She went back completely wasted and needed a place to stay for the night since her dad was on her ass about getting drunk so she stays with him.
