Rumi Devereux is the definition of beating to her own drum. After deciding to take a break from touring she's going back to her first love, acting. When the huge fan base from a popular CBS crime drama begs the writers and producers to make her guest appearance become a series regular. She's back to spending her days with the sweetest goofiest guy that plays the adorable awkward boy genius. She wants to be his best friend, but then again she doesn't...how can she simply be just friends with someone when every time she looks at them, she's thinking about how much more she really wants?

Matthew Gray Gubler is a bit of an eccentric oddball which makes him all the more lovable. Between his goofy demeanor and unapologetic love for life he's found a friendship with the new series regular who happens to be just as goofy and creative as him. The moment he met her after a table reading he was instantly intrigued by her. It's been a long time since he's felt this way about anyone, but it seems right person wrong time was unfortunately true for them.

Their souls just dance the same, and everyone could see it.
