"Good morning, sunshine," Javi smiles at me, his voice sleepy and raspy.
"Technically, it's moonshine," I say matter-of-factly. Luna doesn't mean "sun", duuuh.
"You mean moonLIGHT," he mimics my previous tone.
"What's wrong with moonshine?" I furrow my eyebrows in confusion and he sighs.
"Oh, mi niña preciosa," he lets out a soft laugh, his hand on my shoulder like I'm a child.

Luna Irene Harper is a 19 year old girl who lives with her aunt and uncle after her parents were murdered when she was young. She was homeschooled her whole life. Despite being an only child and having no friends, Luna loves to talk to people she meets. Her name may be Luna but she's a complete ray of sunshine.

Javier Asher Aguilar is a 21 year old boy who is constantly overworking himself. He tends to isolate himself which makes him a complete grump. That is, until Luna forced her way into his life. Now he feels this overwhelming need to keep her safe from any danger, even if the danger is someone she trusts with her life.
