But Ominis could.
Yet, both of them get asked to speak at his trial. As witnesses. And even though Ominis turned him in in the first place, all of a sudden he thinks it might've been the wrong choice. Anne is dying. And Sebastian may never see her again. 
Ominis tries to find a way to buy some time. Elara fears the day she has to see Sebastian in the ministry. Will they even believe her? Or will they see nothing more than a foolish girl who fell for some guy using her for her powers?
