The red stains on his hands, the throbbing in his head-he knew this feeling. This thing inside him had once again devoured the only thing he had. Or maybe Julian was losing his sanity too.

Walking into the toilet, he tried to remember what had happened the previous night. Asking why he woke up in this kind of state was the densest thing he could think of since he already knew the answers to these questions.
