River Lockhart's face looked like it had been pulled from an issue of Vogue then Photoshopped a few times over. His too bright, too straight teeth hid behind his smooth-looking lips. His Grecian nose found its perfect position under his silver specked cerulean eyes. His impossible hair was swept up against his forehead for a contrasting effect against his tan skin. 
River was the kind of guy girls didn't even try to talk to. Intimidation emanated from his sharp look  and reticent demeanor. 

If Kennedy knew one thing, it was this: River Lockhart was out of her league on any sort of measure, level, or  dimension. She was okay with that. But when a situation placed the two under conjoining circumstances will feelings change?
