In highschool, you know how there are different groups of people? The jocks that are complete idiots and get praised for their looks, and the cheerleaders that always get hooked up/knocked up by the jocks. These groups of people are on top of the imaginary pyramid and are known by everyone. Next there are regular people that range from musicians to artists. They aren't the most popular or on the top of the pyramid, but they have a partial respect from others and usually have a lot of friends. And then there are the nerds that are completely anti-social with others outside of their group and know everything. They are the people who are always bullied and on what people would be considered the bottom of the pyramid. Well, the 18-year-old Violet Moore, who is a senior, is even lower on the pyramid than anyone. Probably even underground, she's that low on the popularity pyramid
She's simply a nobody. No friends, never invited to parties or sleepovers, excluded from group work -she doesn't need to because she's smarter than any of the advanced kids in her class-, and is even picked on by the nerds. Horrible, right?
Wrong.
Her life outside of school is worse. Having to take care of her five-year-old twin siblings, Lauren and Luke, she has to work all the time to support herself and her siblings, or else she'll lose the last of her family to Child Services. Yeah, she has a lot more on her plate then others may think. Violet's parents died unexpectedly when she was 14, leaving herself with the last of their money, two one-year-olds, and no other family/friends to fall back to.
So what will happen when the *shockingly* smart AND sweet boy named Garret Tarrell notices her at work? Will her life get worse, or will there actually be excitement happen to her for once? Are secrets that have been hidden inside herself for a while emerge, or will they burrow even further in? Will Violet do something daring for once in her life? We'll see!All Rights Reserved
