In a world where the dead pose almost as big of a threat as the living, 15yr old Blake O'Connor takes a chance and ends up in the Alexandria Safe Zone; where she is isolated from the world she's become accustomed to and thrust into a new life. One she isn't comfortable with.

After months of longing for the hand to hand combat and escape that the outside world offers, will she find release when a new group arrives; bringing with them experiences not unlike hers, change she had been dying for and the one person who seems to understand? Or will a sequence of events push her too far over the edge, where even the boy with the sheriff's hat can't save her?
