...When Kokichi woke up from the simulation, he didn't expect everything to be so plain. He also didn't expect to be able to feel anything. The moment everything came crashing back, his breathing speed up... he couldn't breath, he tried calling out for the only person he could think of, but not a sound emerged from his frozen lungs...

(Voices. So fuzzy, yet so clear. Then, a stabbing throb racked his brain, shattering his thoughts. Through the pain, he felt a slight weight on his side...)

...When Rantaro woke up from the simulation, he didn't expect the grape he began dating 2 weeks before Danganronpa to be cuddling him. He also didn't expect the piercing headache or the screeching that only made the pain a thousand times more unbearing...
