I was only six months old when it happened. I try not to worry about it, really. I'm a normal person. I can still do things on my own; I don't need assistance every minute of the day (which my brother really doesn't understand). Alas, my disability makes everyone think I'm helpless. I'm not. I'm just a blind kid, I don't see why I need the special treatment. I'm just Castiel Shurley. I'm just a person. I don't need someone to watch over me. All I need is some freedom.
