Imagine a different Brazil, where after the colonial invasion, the indigenous people took refuge in the Amazon, and the colonists became a reference in the export of literate slaves. It would be a more organized reality, with strict laws to avoid uncontrolled population, where control is a priority.

In this plot, several characters fight to survive within the country's laws, avoiding the severe punishments applied to people of color. The story alternates between present and past, covering the years 1608 to 1643, with all narratives intertwining at some point, revealing the consequences of one person's actions on the other's life.

All characters are fictional, although they may be similar to or inspired by real people. Some historical events were adapted to better fit the plot. There are explicit descriptions of violence, sex, drugs, torture and abuse, all to complement the characters' personalities.

Finally, I do not recommend this story for sensitive audiences or those under 18.
