Peace and tranquility. Most all humans wish for a life filled to the brim with it. Giyuu was no exception to that. He, much like any other people, had only ever wanted to live a comfortable life. One without hardship, and one without illness. Most people never thought to wish on the second. Giyuu, however, has suffered dearly due to both physical illness, and mental. He often times found himself wandering around at night, not heading anywhere specific. His mind is awfully foggy at these times, and so he will often feel disoriented in a way; he wasn't thinking about where he was, and nor did he care.. The cover art isn't mine! Disclaimer: none of these characters belong to me, they belong to the creator of kny itself. TW: This story contains strong language, self harm, mentions of self harm, death, gore, mentions of suicide, and suicide itself. This story is kinda like how Tanjirou and Nezuko. This is my first story ever so I'm sorry if there is my mistakes or anything. Sanemi and Giyuu are already dating and Sabito is still alive and is Giyuu's best friend. Sanemi is 17 and his family except Genya is dead. Giyuu is 16 years old, his sister died protecting him. Sabito is 15 and was abandoned by his parents. Sanemi goes out to get some supplies for himself, Giyuu, and Sabito. He wasn't expecting what is going to happen when he comes home. When night reach, a man saw him going back to his home in darkness, he offered him to stay because of demons. Sanemi was unsure what to do but thought they'd be alright for one night and decided to sleep. Next day appears, he was shocked to see something unexpected. Read the story to know more... Giyuu Tomioka never escaped from the clutches of insanity. Being dragged away by relatives of his that were doctors all because he insisted that his sister was slaughtered by demons, it was the truth, but over time as these doctors started to chip away at his mind he was left unsure of any reason demons would exist in a world. These doctors always tormented Giyuu even in his sleep to the point he became an emotionless being. Until he was saved by a woman. For the first time in years Giyuu actually felt something and instead of working on the opposing side of demons, he found himself working for a demon, she was kind and quiet, and almost emotionless in a way, she treated Giyuu like a normal human being but then she was recruited to help people who slayed demons, since she couldn't work in the sunlight, Giyuu was often sent in her stead when test were being ran during the day, there he met some people who were interesting, people's lives that were damaged by demons but they never seemed emotionless like him, it confused him made him wonder if he was always supposed to be like this, if there was a way he could have been different. As he wonders into his thoughts, he runs into someone, someone who looked severely damaged by the hands of demons on the outside but on the inside he seemed put together but a little degraded, he seemed to be intrigued by Giyuu and Giyuu wouldn't admit but he intrigued him.
