For many years, Earth has been the sole place of life. However, that all changed when an event called "The Tekkadan Awakening" occurred.

Why the name Tekkadan?

It was the day when people on Earth encountered strange mechanical lifeforms which were based on various modern day animals, dinosaurs, insects and mythological creatures- Zoids.

Warriors by nature, Zoids were, in a sense, powerful forces of nature itself, however, they could be piloted. Some used for good, others used them for evil.

And war was inevitable to begin.

But that war would end when a powerful Zoid joined the fight, and put an end to all conflict, being remembered as a war hero.

This Zoid... was known as Liger Zero-The Hero Of The Calamity War.

Years have passed, but, now, the wait is over.

When a chance meeting by fate becomes the starting point of a great adventure, Liger Zero will rise.

Once again.... Beasts will roar.
