Life has not been kind to Karina Sparks.

Unfortunately, the orphanage sold her to an organization that would later do terrible things to her. Things that would haunt her for the rest of her life.
After several years of enduring their brutal regime, she managed to escape. She escaped and became a new woman, Cassie Jones.
