What would you do if you had the chance to rewrite your story? Emily had it all. Back in high school, she was the girl who got the one and only Todd Evans to fall in love with her. She was the girl who never failed a single test and did all of her homework. She was the girl whose integrity and wit charmed the living daylights out of her family and friends. Emily was the girl whose fantasies ultimately became her reality. Fast forward ten years. Emily is sick of her life. Her husband, Todd, is a washed up artist who could barely remember his children's names. Her job as a high school teacher couldn't even make up half of their apartment's bills. Her parents hardly acknowledge her because of Todd. And to top it all off: Emily gets into a car accident. But this wasn't an ordinary accident. No, this was an accident that would change her life forever. Vanished from her present, Emily suddenly wakes up only to find herself back in the high school she once attended.

"Do you know how hard it is for me knowing that you're with someone else?" Tyler asked, staring at me intensely. "You think this is easy for me?" I asked, trying to hold back my tears. "I didn't say it was -" he began, but I cut him off. "It's not. I have to go around hating myself. Hating myself for thinking about you. Hating myself for wanting you. I just want to stop feeling this way." I stepped closer to him as my voice shook with every word. "I want to forget about you, but I just--." The rest of my sentence was cut short as Tyler took the final step, closing the gap between us and brought his lips to mine. ~~~~~~~~ Tyler is back from college to find out that the girl who once held his heart has a new boyfriend.
