Love between humans is a no, no for angels. Its against the angel law. Why? No one knows. 

Declan is an angel that has longed for love. He searched through heaven and couldn't find any perfect angel companions. So he did the forbidden. He searched earth for someone to love. As if a miracle was a achieved, he found her. Cara Wills. Declan fell in love with her.

He went back to heaven to tell of his fortune, only to be cast out. Now a fallen, he searches for his love. He searches and searches. Finally, he finds her.

But when he discovers her, he crumbles. He vowed to never love again. He had found his love dead.

Years later, a new neighbour moves in. He feels attracted to her, undoubtedly. She is the most beautiful creature to ever grace his eyes. No.

He pushes those feelings away. He couldn't do that to her. Not after Cara. He loved them both to much.
