Over a century since the Dance of the Dragons, a girl who may change the narrative is born.

In the year 250 AC, King Jaehaerys II and his sister-wife Shaera welcomed their second daughter Jaena Targaryen.

Jaena, a girl of one and six, lives for academics. She becomes obsessed with the blood feud of her ancestors after discovering a history book titled Fire & Blood.

While visiting Summerhall, Jaena encounters the long forgotten Maiden-Made-Of-Light. Suddenly, she is transported through time, back to the age of King Viserys I. Her quest is clear ; prevent the deadly dance from ever occurring. Save her family. Change fate itself.

Or even a warning forboding the gruesome conflicts within the once mighty Targaryen family. But that wasn't the only story that was told. King Aegon II Targaryen was not just the usurper, but a man who loved his wife. A father who loved his children. And a boy who fell in love with the girl who broke his nose.
