Some of this story is told from Rivet's POV, from the POV's of others, as well as just story narration. Things this story is meant to touch on: Rivet's early life before the Resistance. Rivet's reason for eventually joining the Resistance. Why Rivet wears a scarf (not really important, but details are nice..) Her distrust for robots. The loss of her arm. Why she simply refuses to give up. Meeting Pierre Keep in mind, minus her distrust of robots, and the loss of her arm, none of this is canon.
