He remembered when the hands tore most of the bright yellow essence from his soul as he begged for the pain to stop, his sockets leaking from tears as his body felt as though it was on fire. The pressure from what was left of him squeezed as if he were thousands of feet underwater. He could barely breathe, every inhale felt like he was taking in volcanic air. He remembered when the pain began to disappear as the hands dissipated with a ball of bright yellow essence from his soul leaving him with a tinted yellow soul, nearly empty. He remembered voices yelling at him and the feeling of being lifted as his pain began to subside but continued to linger.
