The air of Smoke and Blood (Record of the Grancrest War x Total War: Attila)

On the continent of Atlatan, Crests and Magic ruled supreme as Humanity fought each other over the lands they ruled. But to the west, the Continent of Olympus forged a new method of war, under a united New Roman Empire, the rise of a black powder and the weapons able to wield this powder could see the art of warfare transformed forever. Soon, Pike and Shot would arrive when a Fleet sent by Valentinian V of the Majorian dynasty landed on Atlatan's shores.

Valentinian's goal was to expand the influence of the Western Roman Empire, bringing the revolutionary tactics and weapons of the west to bear against the magic-wielding lords of Atlatan. As the clash of Crests and Fire echoed across the continent, new alliances were formed, old enmities were rekindled, and the fate of both Atlatan and Olympus hung in the balance.
