[Crossposted onto A03 under the same name] Ayanokouji Kiyotaka, the Masterpiece of the White Room has gone missing, disappearing into thin air one night before the end of spring break. His whereabouts are unknown, his condition even less so. In his quest for freedom, equality and the rekindling of his humanity, he ends up in the worst place possible. A world of Titans, death and cruelty alike. It's not like he hasn't experienced it all. How will he deal with this world? Will his limited time in ANHS affect his actions or will he sweep those pleasant thoughts away for something more...close to home? Will he ever find the answers to his questions? Can he truly change? What is the meaning of equality? Will he lose his way, succumbing to that itch to control everything around him? Will he ever live that peaceful life he's always dreamed about? What even are his dreams? What is he? "Who knows?" __________________________________________________________________________________ This is a super small project. Don't expect many updates. Takuya Yagami had always been the epitome of excellence in the White Room. As the best student of the fifth generation, Takuya's brilliance was absolute. His intelligence was great, and his strength was formidable. Yet, despite his exceptional abilities, one thing he hated: he was never recognized as the best. This lack of recognition was due to one man-Ayanokouji Kiyotaka. Ayanokouji was the masterpiece of the White Room, a product of the fourth generation. It was the most brutal one, where no one but Ayanokouji survived. His superiority was absolute. If Takuya was strong, Ayanokouji was stronger. If Takuya was intelligent, Ayanokouji was a genius beyond comprehension. This relentless comparison filled Takuya with resentment and hate. One day, Ayanokouji escaped the White Room and enrolled at the Advanced Nurturing High School, an institution for elites. For an entire year, Ayanokouji hides his abilities, blending in as an ordinary student. However, his father, the creator of the White Room, could not accept his son's rebellion. To bring him back, he sent two of his students to retrieve him: Amasawa Ichika, who worshipped Ayanokouji as a god, and Takuya Yagami, who hated him. Takuya entered AHNS with a single-minded objective: to defeat Ayanokouji. However, the encounter did not go as planned. Despite his abilities, Takuya faced a humiliating defeat. Ayanokouji's superiority was on full display, and the gap between them was undeniable. This devastating loss shattered Takuya's mind. The realization of how infinitely superior Ayanokouji was, broke his spirit. Seizing the moment, Amasawa Ichika smiled. She saw an opportunity to turn Takuya's shattered mind into another ally. Amasawa indoctrinated Takuya into her belief, which idolized Ayanokouji as a god. She convinced Takuya that his true purpose was not to hate Ayanokouji but to worship him. In his broken state, Takuya embraced this new belief. He transformed from a rival into a loyal disciple.

Ayanokoji Kiyotaka was a man who lived in the shadows, detached from the world around him. Trained in the White Room, he was a master at manipulating situations to his advantage, blending in without ever drawing attention to himself. Despite his genius-level intellect, he was uninterested in emotions or deep connections. One day, bored and seeking a distraction, Kiyotaka stumbled upon a game called Miside. It promised a world where players could live out their ideal lives, make choices, and explore relationships without constraints. Curious, he decided to try it. But as soon as he entered the game, something felt wrong. The world was too real, the characters too lifelike. No matter what he did, the game wouldn't let him go. The line between reality and the virtual world blurred, and Kiyotaka, who had always been in control, found himself trapped in a game where emotions were real and stakes were higher than he ever imagined. For the first time, he couldn't escape Miside had become his reality.
