Nobody expects something supernatural to happen to them. Those kind of things only happened in comics. Fairy Tales. Unrealistic dreams that you'd fall asleep to, silently wishing for them to come true. At least, that was what these three teenagers thought. It turns out that there is so much more to their simple universe than they ever could have imagined. After each finding a strange alien artifact, the teens are suddenly thrusted into an intergalactic war. Alien species everywhere are trying to hunt down the most powerful weapons in the galaxy. And they are the ones in possession of it. When they run into a girl that claims to be from another planet, the three kids learn about the power given to them and the responsibilities that come along with it. Instantly, they are the most popular people in the galaxy. And for once, popularity couldn't feel more like a curse. Fighting grudges, fear, and distrust, the Chosen humans must travel to the one place on Earth where they might be safe. And with strange new powers, the teenagers struggle to live in the unfamiliar world they thought they knew so well.

At first, he was in denial, but inevitably came to the understanding that he is now a Super, and if he has powers, he might as well use them for something other than picking up hot chicks. Now, not only does he have to deal with school, his almost non existent social life and his aggravating younger brother, but he also has to fight super villains and learn to control his new found powers to avoid blowing his cover to the world...and it is a lot harder than he anticipated. Prepare for a roller coaster ride of lame one liners and painfully awkward adolescent behaviour, along with bromances and romances, breakups and make ups, and even some cliché superhero behaviour, villains who hold a grudge, and really dorky super suits. Oh... and angry, rampaging squirrels.

A Guide to Being Super de tangles-

Every city has its claim to fame and for the city of Cytropolis it's their superheroes. But unlike the cities of Gotham and Central City, this isn't a good thing. Cytropolis is known far and wide as the city with the clumsiest and least influential superheroes ever. But it never mattered that much since the super villains were just as bad. That is, until recently when the villains decided to smarten up and open a super villain academy to train the newest generation (something that never occurred to the heroes). Luckily for them, Matt Miller has arrived. He may seem like an average, normal (even bordering on boring) seventeen-year-old boy, but when are things ever what they seem? He may be apathetic and bitter but he has super powers and he's kind of, well, powerful. He's the heroes only hope against the newest villain in town, Sinister Shadow, and he has no choice but to lend a hand (but he refuses to wear tights while he does it, he draws the line at tights). However, darkness lurks in every corner. *** Maximillian Hunter, the son of the famous ex-actress Julianne Hunter, has a simple problem. High school. The problem being that this teenage boy, for varying reasons, just can't seem to stay put in one school. A part of the reason being that fitting in is not a thing that Maximillian Hunter has ever been good at. After all, there is nothing quite like Maximillian Hunter. However, contrary to what he'd earlier believed, he finds himself making friends who actually seem to like him. And even more contrary to what he believed, he realises he's not the only abnormal one in Hypercity High. Except that .... .... there are more abnormal things going on in Hypercity. A lot more.
