According to urban legend, a kind farmer rescues an injured crane and nurses it back to health. A few months later, a beautiful woman appears, with the two falling in love and getting married. After he falls ill, the woman makes tapestries for him to sell in the market in order to afford his medicine. One day, the husband peeks into the room while she's finishing the last tapestry, only to see the crane, whom he helped, plucking her own feathers to make them.
