The Hollow

A woman from modern Earth, who is reborn into a novel she strongly dislikes - where she is cast as the accused villainess. Despite her hatred for the role, Maxine takes it upon herself to change the course of the story.

Using her 'hollow heart', 'sharp tongue', and 'keen eyes', Maxine works behind the scenes to expose the true criminals and villains, rather than allowing herself to be pinned as the sole evil-doer. As she navigates this new world, Maxine's cold, hollow heart begins to warm as she develops an affection for the newly born son of the Duke Zachary Winha. The Duke to whom she is forced to wed by her own family.
