Centuries have passed since the gods have departed. Rafik a young scholar finds himself on the run from numerous assassins and ungodly beings sent out by the Insurrection, in order to protect the son of his precious friend and his wonderful gift from falling into the wrong hands.
The path ahead of them lies treacherous as he will have to navigate around unruly men, ferocious beasts, discarded soldiers of the gods, ancient eldritch gods and demons that lavish in emotions.
