Elora Rivera Alamilla, a retired police detective meets with Armando Aretas Lowrey, a cartel member, in Mexico City during a mission. During all the times Armando and Elora meet, they gradually fall in love with each other. Armando having no idea who Elora was and might still be in her past life, and Elora tries to hide her identity well before she is contacted by two detectives from her former police department to come help them again because she was needed. When she hid her new police career from Armando they come across each other during two opposite missions where they are supposed to take each other down.
