Evelyn is an enterprising girl living in 1940s New York. After her boyfriend, Bucky, enlists, she also goes to war. 70 years later she thaws, finding herself in a completely different reality and is forced to start a new life. When she meets her longtime friend, Steve, at the Avengers compound, she is shocked to discover that her ex is also alive. However, a dislike will erupt between the two which will lead them to hate each other during their coexistence. Even sometimes hate isn't everything. Although if from there sometimes stronger feelings are unleashed...
