Going back to an old broken friend

This is a tale of boy who shared a dream with four wonderful girls, together they reached said dream and saw to new heights, that is until the boy was betrayed by the four girls and was left in the dust, and that was but one of the many things the boy lost, he lost his parents, his sibling, his friend, his pet, his arms, his eye and gained a shattered heart. Now what would happen if the once who abandoned the boy, who had become a man, returned to him, would he receive them with open arms? or would the girls have to prove themselves to their old broken friend that they still care?
