Summary: Sonic and his friends end up on Acorn Island after an encounter with a new villain known as Dr Finitevus on his space station. There they meet 3 evil hedgehogs Eggman's new creation, Seelkadoom, Aeon a hedgehog from a now destroyed dimension and the newly revived Nazo. While on said island they meet it's princess Sally Acorn and her team of Freedom Fighters and now with their help the heroes must get the Chaos Emeralds and stop these old and new threats

No one knew. No one, not even Sonic's own friends, would have thought there was another side to him. Everyone thought he was the happy go luck hero. To them, he was nothing but a shiny star. No matter how many times you pushed Sonic's buttons, you'd never see him rage. Of course, he would be angry, but you'd never see him act of place. Sonic's sworn enemy, Eggman, refused to believe this. He begins to believe that Sonic's hiding something from everyone. He wants everyone to see Sonic differently. But the only question was how? If he couldn't make Sonic mad by causing chaos and mayhem, how can he do it? Eggman almost gave up, but you what they say, "A genius never sleeps." Fake chaos emeralds... they channel dark energy within them. If Eggman can use these 'chaos emeralds' to control Sonic, a speedy blue hero, then he can finally conquer the world and make the Eggman Empire come true! But, years passed, and the personal professor of King Max, later abandoned and betrayed the royal king. He was then branded a traitor. With the distraught of his betrayal, Dr. Eggman was angered by the decisions of the Kingdom. So he wanted to start his own evil kingdom. With living slaves. Now while the King left his rightful place to lead the fight against Eggman, he had to bring someone to protect Sally when he couldn't. He brought upon them, Sonic the Hedgehog. He himself, became orphan after his Uncle Chuck was turned into a robot slave. What will happen of this new power couple?

Once again Sonic is criticized by Hedgehog Village. Though he was voted to be banished (due to the fact that he hurt Eggman for real). Even his own friends agreed to banish him. Though by the time he was needed again due to the fact that Eggman had them all fooled and a few hedgehogs were reported missing, they realized something happened to him. Though when they found him, he was in a trance (assuming he was sick). Knuckles 'who felt bad' watched over him but unfortunately, he turned his back and Sonic went missing. Everyone was sent on a frantic search. The team entered a beautiful fancy village named Transtopia (owned and lead by (Sonics other old flame) Serena and Camilla) There Knuckles meets their beautiful protector. A blue hedgehog (that bored little resemblance to Queen Aleena) named Shayera Blue Star. Though she looked familiar to Knuckles. This protector was a real fighter. To Knuckles there was something about her that Knuckles couldn't help but see.
