jake and johnnie arent dating but they think it would be cool to have a kid around the house. they adopt 12 year old lauren. she gets pretty comfortable around them and tara quickly. tara is like her new bestfriend. one day, jake and johnnie find out that sam and colby also adopted a kid awhile back. her name is lillian and shes 11 years old. but sam and colby were already dating. so is it weird that jake and johnnie adopted while they werent dating? one day johnnie confessed feelings for jake but they decided to keep it a secret from everyone. lauren and lillian, or lily, start hanging out a lot more and become very close. they go to the same school and have a nice big friend group. lily and lauren befriend someone with the name of ember, whose also 12. one day when the girls were hanging out at lauren/jake and johnnies house, ember notices something, she sees tension between jake and johnnie. she points it out to lauren and lily and they also notice it. so, they call tara and ask her what they should do. keep reading to see the story continue on.
