Flightless

Niles knows a lot about faeries. As a doctor who specializes in treating fae, he's become a leading expert in his field. But when a new patient crosses his path, a hybrid faerie named Ashton, even he begins to doubt his ability to help this patient.

Ashton doesn't know where he is or how long he's been away from home. All he knows is that he shouldn't trust this new human doctor who is trying to help him adjust to life without his wings. Convinced that there is no way to get back home without endangering his entire clan, Ashton has resigned himself to his current predicament and given up on a hopeful future.

As Niles tries to connect with this reserved and cautious faerie, and Ashton tries to rebuild his life from scratch, they both learn what it means to trust and move forward.
