This is a story of a 17 year old teenage girl named Nicky Jane Laurens. She is a daughter of both Doctors and a senior in Southburg High in North Carolina. As an ordinary and unpopular young adult, she kept her teeny feeling to a popular cool guy named James Alexander Bruscheles. He is a son of a very influencive man in their town.
