Skin walkers are harmful witch in the Navajo culture, that has the ability to take the form of animals. They are described as yee naaldlooshii, which translates to "by means of it, it goes on all fours,"
Multiple people have had encounters with Skin-walkers, they have caught them on camera and uploaded to the internet. People have the belief that calling them by the term "Skin-walkers" is bad luck, and is a way of luring them. People refer to them as "Mimics" as a way to avoid saying "Skin-Walkers".
