❝Where are we going, anyway?❞
❝It doesn't matter, as long as you're here.❞
Can a road trip fix a crumbling friendship? Can it create it make something more? Charlotte and Sawyer have been best friends since they were children, mainly under the conditions that Sawyer would get them into trouble and Charlotte would dig them both out. During the summer of before their senior year of high school, Sawyer comes up with his craziest idea yet: a road trip.
To Las Vegas.
Despite her reservations, Charlotte somehow ends up going on this crazy trip filled with inevitable disaster. Carrying the weight of their dreams, suitcases, and plenty of fault to be found in their maps (because Google Maps sucks), they try to reclaim what reality and the future is trying to steal from them: freedom. But is this trip what it seems to be on the surface, or are there other reasons that Sawyer has planned this trip? Is their small Maine town the only thing he's trying to distance himself from? Or are there other, bigger things going on?
Of course, it's not all smiles and rainbows for Charlotte either. With her friend Kylah strongly supporting the real-life ship 'Charller' (which is just creepy and awkward), it's hard to see anything straight. Not to mention those awfully tangled, sickly sweet feelings Charlotte has that are - possibly - linked to Sawyer.

Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
