This poem is a personal reflection on the fragility of peace and the unexpected twists of life. I wrote it after a stressful day, when a nap brought me temporary escape, only to be disrupted by a painful ant sting. The poem explores the contrast between my dream world and the harsh reality, highlighting the fleeting nature of peace and the ways in which life can surprise us. Through vivid imagery and rich language, I aim to capture the emotions and insights that emerged from this experience, inviting readers to reflect on their own experiences of peace, disruption, and resilience.
