In this story, Zuko stumbles upon a group of Southern Water Tribe Survivors, the day after abandoning his father during the failed invasion of the Fire Nation. Zuko offers to prove he's changed, but these Water Tribesmen have heard all about his past transgressions. Zuko must show off his newly found honor and desire to protect the innocent in order to prove that he's ready for atonement. Enjoy this tale of love, hardships, forgiveness, epic battles, and a desire to bring balance to the world. (Dialogue assisted by AI)

Katara lives in District Twelve, constantly struggling to support her family after the death of her mother. She dreads the Reaping each year just like everyone else, knowing if she is chosen she would be sent to the Capitol to fight in the Hunger Games, a televised competition where twenty-four teenagers fought to the death. But when the day finally comes, it isn't her who is chosen. It's her brother, Sokka. So Katara does the unthinkable. She volunteers to take his place.
