That one night in the brothel in Flea Bottom between Rhaenyra and Daemon and the "forgotten" Moon Tea the next day were not without consequences. In early 114 AC, Rhaenyra gave birth to a daughter on Dragonstone. This happened without the knowledge of the vipers in the Red Keep and the only ones who knew about the little girl were Rhaenyra, Daemon, Laenor, Laena and Rhaenys. Daenys Targaryen was born on Dragonstone and grew up in Winterfell. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer: I do not own HotD, Fire and Blood or A Song of Ice and Fire. All characters and credits for those go to George R.R. Martin. I only own my OC's and their storyline.

Born as the illegitimate daughter of Daemon Targaryen, Saera has spent her life in the shadows of the Red Keep, regarded as little more than a reminder of her father's indiscretions. Although Daemon raised her within the Red Keep from infancy, she has never experienced the comfort of true trust. His unwavering love cannot shield her from the cold judgment of the Targaryen court, nor can it erase the stigma of her birth. Now, at sixteen, Saera has grown into a young woman embodying her father's boldness but burdened by her status as a bastard. The whispers of the court are cruel, and her family's loyalties are fragile. While Daemon's fierce protection has helped forge her into a strong and independent woman, she remains wary, reluctant to trust those around her-especially the very family that looks down on her. When Aegon II Targaryen, her royal cousin and a central figure in the impending conflict of the Targaryen civil war, begins to show interest in her, Saera finds herself conflicted. He offers her a glimpse of warmth, but his courtly charm does little to alleviate her suspicions. For Saera, trust is a rare commodity, one that no Targaryen has ever truly earned. As the Dance of the Dragons commences, Saera must navigate a world filled with shifting allegiances and dangerous betrayals. With her father by her side, she faces the allure of new loyalties and the promise of power, all while questioning whether she can ever genuinely trust anyone, even those closest to her. The fire of Targaryen blood runs hot, but in Saera's heart, it is a flame that threatens to consume her completely. In a world where loyalty is tenuous and betrayal is commonplace, Saera must decide whether to confront the fire of trust or remain in the shadows of her father's legacy, forever a daughter of the trustless flame.
