Butterflies flutter around me as I fall gently onto the soft vibrant green grass. A light blue butterfly lands beside me, resting on the light pink petal of a flower. I look up at the beautiful clear spring sky. White puffy marshmallow like clouds, scattered sporadically among the sky above, dance ever so slowly across the blue horizon. Sighing contently I close my eyes. I breathe in the fresh smell of the wild flowers, that are sprinkled over the field. Pinks,reds,blues,and purples sprayed over the meadow like a rainbow blanketing the hills. The light breeze kisses my skin. The warm air caresses my bod-

A voice snaps me out of my day dream and I look to meet the eyes of a quite annoyed looking Mr.Jones.
Rain is a girl who day dreams to much, and a hopless romantic who doesn't believe in love anymore.

In The Eyes Of Fate Series (Book One) "Don't even think about it." I stood frozen in place as he said those words from behind me, which sent shivers down my spine. The rain started running down my face as I started thinking of a way out of here. My body trembled in fear knowing that he could easily hurt me. His golden red eyes flickered with a hint of pain for a moment then back to a cold stare, "I'd never hurt you, never put you in harm's way and I'm never letting him take you from me, you're mine." He said in a deep low voice, almost a growl, and his eyes seemed to have gotten darker. 'What the hell is that supposed to mean?!' I tried taking a step back but his grip on my arm tightened. It hurt. "L-let me go, you, you're hurting me!" I looked up at him scared, his eyes were now completely dark, and the next thing I noticed were pointed teeth poking out from his lips. I screamed and pushed at him but he didn't budge. I then raised my knee and kneed him between the legs with all my force, and he dropped like a rock, holding his groin. Run. I took my chance. Even in my damp mood I feel sorry for the little animal. "You don't have a home, little guy?" I ask, squatting to see it better. Did it just shake its head!? I blink a few times and sigh. I'm probably seeing things. It's been overwhelmingly negative lately. I reach a hand for the feline and it corresponds, tucking its head under it. I pet it's wet coat and stare at it as it closes its eyes. I can't leave such a pitiful thing next to the dumpsters and cold rain to be frozen alive or ravished by stray dogs. So I do what every human being would do in my situation, I take it home. And that was possibly the stupidest thing I've ever done. *** This is a story about a girl named Lucky.
