It's a new year at Rutherford B. Hayes Performing Arts High School, and show choir auditions were postponed to the first day of school. Returners and newcomers are all welcomed to audition, but this year's competition is FIERCE, and due to budget cuts, this award-winning program's numbers has been cut in half, from 30 to a mere 16 members. Follow Ms. Gilbert and her students in a multi-perspective story through this year's drama-filled, show-stopping musical adventure!
Author's Note: Inspired by my love of Glee, this is my own take of a modern high school show choir, its drama, and music to follow the story. After some chapters, there will be a song that the character(s) would have performed during that scene for your own entertainment.

{Complete} Throw in two best friends, a home-schooled newbie, a curly-haired boy, a jokester, a walking encyclopedia, an odd classmate, a diva, a complainer, a very eccentric teacher, and a couple other students and what do you get? A very dysfunctional high school orchestra. Based on a true story and told between two friends, this orchestra can't get along, but issues aside, they can play wonderfully together. After all, enemies can't make music with each other, or can they? ~~~~~ This was written thanks to my best friend at the time inspiring me to put my crazy tale of a year down on paper. A majority of this did actually occur during my school year. Sadly, Orchestra programs are disappearing from schools but we won the right to keep ours and get more funding. Glee aka great delight
That's what that means after all. By definition! My brother and I are exactly one year apart. It's high school, for the most part everyone is nice to me because I'm a cheerleader, even the coach who let's face it and pardon my language is a bitch. I don't cuss, but like that's really only the bad words I say. My brother is the QB, and we're the best of friends. No one bullies me or picks on me, but also no one knows this, I like to sing, I want to be a star, see my name in lights, Rachel is my best friend, has been for a while now, but my brother doesn't know her and he's my only other best friend. Most of the cheer girls are bitches to each other, but not no is mean to me. Even when I do end up joining the glee club, something I want to be apart of, and I've waited to join for a long time.
