Nearly 200 years after the release of Iblis, the conflict between the immortals, Mephiles the Dark and Shadow the Hedgehog, had finally concluded after Shadow had given up his immortality when he bared a son. The son was Silver the Hedgehog. Mephiles took Silver to raise as his own.

This story follows important moments of Silver's upbringing with Mephiles as his guardian in the hellscape that is their timeline.
